LOVELYLEE'S STORY

"Inspired by Beauty"

My name is Alecia Utley, also known as Lee or LeeLee by most, and I am the owner and founder of LovelyLee’s Arrangements. Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts I am

a mother of two and a full-time professional in the Health Insurance industry.

I consider myself to be a social butterfly. I enjoy making people smile and feel great about themselves, and what better way to do that than with flowers.

I was inspired to make these beautiful florals by the passing of my late grandmother Ethel M. Phillips. She was my grandmother only by title. I considered her my mother and my best friend. She helped raise me, and with her guidance I have become the woman I am today. I am strong, loving, independent, determined, and motivated.

I started making LovelyLee’s Arrangements in 2013 upon her physical departure from here on earth. I say physical departure because I strongly believe that she is still here with me in spirit.

The first few arrangements I made were for my grandmother’s close friends to have something to remember her by. My Grandmother was known to have a green thumb, but if you would have said that to her, she would've said “my thumb is not green, it’s brown”.

She had several plants throughout her house that were all well nurtured and well taken care of by her. They kept her happy and busy.

My love and passion for flowers has also had a huge impact on me and provides inspiration for the creation of these unique pieces that I fell in love with the moment I started making them.

For me flowers represent love, life, growth, and beauty. Although they expire, they leave a memorable moment, feeling, and a sentimental meaning deep within.

I truly hope that LovelyLee's Arrangements serve their purpose and have a memorable impact on you and your loved ones with the gift of everlasting love and beauty.
